ACPI reports this aircraft was stolen on 7/5/2009 while tied down Bahia De Los Angeles airport.
Airport is on the east side of the Baja Peninsula

This aircraft was tied down and had both a throttle lock and a propeller lock installed. 

The plane has recently new paint in overall white with blue and gray accent stripes.

It has large U.S. registration N-numbers in blue. All three wheelpants are white with the same blue and gray accent stripes.

The tail has a decal with two cartoon people running with a yellow dog and the caption "Life is Good".

The interior has gray carpet. The seats and side panels are in medium and light gray leather.

The aircraft had a prop lock and also a throttle lock installed,  however the thieves were able to breach these security devices.

ARMED THEFT FROM MEXICO

ACPI reports a armed theft of this aircraft on Monday morning April 14th, 2008.
The theft occurred at El Gallito Airport, operated by the Hotel Serenidad in Muldge, Mexico.
This city is on the Gulf of California about halfway down the Baja Peninsula.
The aircraft was loaded with the owner, passenger and baggage at the departure end of the runway ready to takeoff.
It was then surrounded by six armed men.
The hijackers forced the people off the plane and boarded.
It took off eastbound.
The aircraft is White with tan stripes. No other details are available at this time.
There was another theft from this airport in December of 2006.

1978 CESSNA 207A, N207BD, sn: 207-00425


Aircraft was stolen at gunpoint at an airport just outside of La Paz, Baja California

Aircraft is reported blue and white with a gold stripe. Aircraft apparently has many after market security features, however since the insured was preflighting the aircraft at the time of the theft, they were all unarmed.
Reported Incident: On November 2, 2006 at around 14:50 hours, three individuals, representing to be two watchmen of Echo Services and the pilot of the aircraft, approached the airport security guards. When the three individuals were allowed clearance to the airport facilities, they burst in, aiming at the people who were there reportedly taking hostage the security guards. One of the suspects approached the insured that was reportedly preflighting the aircraft to fly to San Jose and/or Cabo, South Baja California. The suspect took the keys of the aircraft from the insured, loaded the two other suspects in the aircraft, and immediately departed the airport in the aircraft with their course unknown.

UPDATE: The aircraft has original Cessna paint that is white with orange and red trim.  The most distinguishing part of the aircraft is the prop.  It is a 4 bladed white prop with stainless steel leading edges

Information Update on Stolen Cessna 206 N9168M

Stolen from Hillsboro, TX (Identifier is INJ) May 24-2006 after 10:30 PM.

Aircraft stolen from locked hangar, other hangars hit too. All locks are missing. Also missing from N9168M hangar is a box of older avionics and a aircraft towbar.

Aircraft may have been used to transport stolen avionics from other aircraft and towbar used to move plane at from hangar and hide plane at destination.


Aircraft has a Beige exterior w brown stripes down the side and one runs wide up the vertical stabilizer. Matching Wheel pants, Polished spinner with 3 blade prop.

Brown wing tips, New tan leather interior with Tan carpet too.

This 6 seats U206 has aNew garmin panel with Garmin 530, MX20 displaymGarmin Xpndr, (2) King KX155 G/S, 4 Bose Headsets, Two Garmin Handheld GPS' (396) and (196) on yoke mounts.

New Glare shield with Flourescent light and STEC 60 Auto Pilot

Description: Aircraft is white with red center stripe bordered by gold stripes on top and bottom of center stripe, Large Registration Numbers in white on the red stripe which enlarges down the fuselage to the tail,  Red stripe up the vertical stab/rudder at upper edge bordering both sides.

Wheel pants colored red over white, white spinner with red cowl top from windscreen to spinner. Small US flag on vertical stab/rudder.

Stolen between 12/31/05 and 1/1/06 from Punta Pescadero Airport
(Baja California, Mexico)

Description: Aircraft is white with blue & gray trim, Large Registration Numbers in Blue on White, Cessna logo painted on upper vertical stab.

Nearly all the upper portion of the nose including the spinner is dark blue, with a blue strips extending to the back of the rear side windows, nearly touching the Reg Number.

Below the blue strips is three smaller strips in gray. Larger blue stripe under "Cessna Logo" on vertical stab with three smaller gray stripes under it.
